I’m as excited and as enthusiastic to coach from when I took my first lesson 20 years ago. My experience of competing at singles, playing for club and county combined with my coach qualification has helped me inject the same excitement I get from the sport into the players I coach. I have been the Tennis Manager for 3 companies and am a qualified tutor. Heading programmes in schools, holiday companies and introducing Mini Tennis to 70 clubs in the county.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
